If you just desire to be favored so that you can be elevated before men, don’t expect to see that desire come to fruition. There has to be some purpose in the favor you are being given. Do not expect God to partner with you in something where there is no mission. Abraham was favored because God chose him for a specific reason - there was a mission behind Abraham’s blessing. (Genesis 12:1-3) WHY are you asking God to bless you with wealth, relationships, career? Where there is no vision, the people perish (Proverbs 29:18). Now that doesn’t mean that God will not partner with you unless you have a vision, for your best laid out plans made may not be the plans He has for you. (Jeremiah 29:11) He has a divine purpose in store for your life. You have to trust that while you are waiting for your breakthrough, God is preparing you - there will be favor in your famine! (Isaiah 40:31)
